With the entry into force of the European Regulation 2016/1628, commonly referred to as STAGE V, guidelines and limits for emissions from diesel engines are defined. This regulation affects the design of NRMM (Non-Road Mobile Machinery), a category that includes, in particular, transportable generator sets (e.g., rental).

The regulation is complied with through the installation of special particulate filters in the generator sets, but a necessary condition for the filter to function correctly is that the generator set operates at its design temperature; to achieve this, the installation of a minimum load is required. TELEMA is able to provide load resistors to be installed on the radiators of the generator sets.
